Keep filters defined outside of Filter Management Tabs |
 |
| Purpose: |
Specifies whether BPP should keep all filters NOT defined
through the Filter Management Tabs |
| Values: | true/false |
| Defaults: |
false |
| Notes: |
By default BluPlusPlus deletes all previously defined
filters before applying the filters specified on the filter management tabs.
heck this box to retain all filters defined outside the filter management
tabs. This is important if either:
- Since starting the current JAlbum session you used a different skin
with a filter that you want applied to the current album
- You generated an album with BPP with a filter defined on the Advanced
tab rather than via the filter management tabs and you want it applied
to the current album also

Fixed Size Filter |
 |
| Purpose: |
The fixed size filter crops all images to the same size. The
desired size is specified on the Main tab. This is useful if the album images
are different sizes (perhaps due to cropping or other size alterations made
to the images before the album was generated). |
| Notes: |
This filter can be applied separately to thumbnail or slide
images.
Checking the prescale option
box applies the filter to an image before JAlbum performs any image
size scaling. That is, cropping to the desired size is done first, then
image
scaling to create the thumbnails and slide images is performed. If
prescale is NOT selected, image scaling to create the thumbnails and
slide images
is performed first, then the result is cropped to the desired size.
The result may well be different. Prescale is
highly recommended for the fixed size filter. |
| GUI Element |
Zoom Filter |
 |
| Purpose: |
The zoom filter results in the image being ‘zoomed-in’ by
the specified percentage. Valid entries for the zoom amount range from 1%
to 99%. Zooming by too large an amount may result in unacceptable distortion. |
| Notes: |
This filter can be applied separately to thumbnail or slide images.
Checking the prescale option box applies the
filter to an image before JAlbum performs any image size scaling. That
is, the image is zoomed first, then image scaling to create the thumbnails
and slide images is performed. If prescale is NOT selected, image scaling
to create the thumbnails and slide images is performed first, then the
resulting image is zoomed. The result will likely be different. Prescale is
highly recommended for the zoom filter. |
| GUI Element |
Greyscale Filter |
 |
| Purpose: |
The greyscale filter removes the color from an image and turns
the image into a greyscale image (what would be called “black and white” in
film photography). |
| Notes: |
The filter can be applied separately to thumbnails and slide images.
|
| GUI Element |
Logo Filter |
 |
| Purpose: |
The logo filter places a logo on slide and/or thumbnail images. |
| Notes: |
Prescale is highly recommended
for the logo filter
|
| GUI Element |
Logo on thumbs/logo on slides |
 |
| Purpose: |
Enables/disables the logo filter |
| Values: |
true/false |
| Defaults: |
false |
| Notes: |
|
| GUI Element |
Prescale |
 |
| Purpose: |
Specifies whether the filter is applied before or after JAlbum
scales the image |
| Values: |
true/false |
| Defaults: |
false |
| Notes: |
Prescale
applies the filter to an image before JAlbum performs any image size scaling.
That is, the logo is applied first, then image scaling to create the thumbnails
and slide images is performed. If prescale is NOT selected, image scaling
to create the thumbnails and slide images is performed first, then the
logo is applied. The result
will likely be different. Prescale is highly recommended
for the logo filter. |
| GUI Element |
Logo source |
 |
| Purpose: |
Gives a path to the image to be used as a logo |
| Values: |
any valid path to an image file |
| Defaults: |
|
| Notes: |
The Logo Src box contains a
valid path to the image to be used for the logo. It must be a complete
path of the form “http://etc” or “file:///etc”. It
cannot be a relative path of the form ““../etc”.”
A path of the form ““http://etc”” is used when the source
image is on a remote server. A path of the form ““file:///etc”” is
used when the source image is on the same computer as the album source images. |
